Wow, here we are with August fast approaching.  What a sizzlin' summer!!

Carol will be returning from vacation, and the August classes will be appearing under Classes.

We are also thinking ahead to the Washington Road Trip in October.  More shops this year and 10 days to visit them!!  It will be a lot of fun and the quilt again this year is a Mystery, which adds to the excitement.  We'll be using the American Made Solids from Clothworks and they are very nice fabric.

We are still doing our monthly block exchange and it's not too late to join.  A good way to do some stashbusting and we have a pretty block this year.  Come in and ask for details.

We are now offering sewing machine repair and servicing.  Stop by for details.  We can save you some money, and the machines are picked up and delivered every Tuesday.  Bill works on all machines, including vintage.  Get your machine in tip top shape for all your Christmas projects.

We are in the process of transitioning into a new Rewards program.  It's called 5 Star, and it will be replacing our punch cards.  Your punch card points will transfer to the new system, so you won't lose them.  We are excited about this and we think it will have more to offer our customers.  You will see it at other quilt and yarn shops as the year progresses, and we hope you'll like it as much as we do.  The program is free, but you need to sign up here in the shop.    We will continue to offer 10% off your purchase on Tuesday if you are 55 (or more), and 10% off every day if you have a Sew Fun card.

We are doing the Stuff the Bus program this year for  low income families who may not be able to afford the list of things the kids need.  I have a list, and it has everything on it from pencils to backpacks.  Also, if you would rather donate, $25.00 will provide a backpack with the needed supplies for a student.  You've been fabulous in the past and I know you'll want to help again.  The kids thank you.

We'll see you soon,

Quilt 'til you wilt  (not hard in this
